The domain name was about to expire before I renewed it. It has been an entire year since I've been inhabiting this hovel online, and I barely realized it.

When I started blogging, I gave myself a time-frame for how long. Six to eight months, after that my book would be out. Six to eight months to create a number of blog posts showing what type of persona I am, and how I think. A year later, no book. This is October, so I am crossing my fingers for no unexpected surprises, but let's be honest, we know they are going to happen.

I like my blog, I like my website. It's my personal E-slice. It can look nicer, yes, but it wouldn't have that stock-template "feel" that we associate when first creating a website. Years ago I had several sites on Freewebs for video games, humor, things that were generally not productive. My dreams were big, and my talent zero. I still find those old webpages, at least the ones I can remember, and become nostalgic. I was dumb.

What I'm saying is, I was sappy about those blogs, and I'm sappy about this one.
