NaNoWriMo 2014: Day 25

You know what? I'm completely out of ideas for blog posts. Empty. Drained. There's nothing going on in my brain to fill these pages up, and you're probably feeling something similar, or felt it earlier in the month.

Relax, take a deep breath, because that's normal. This is what we like to call, a challenge. We start new projects full of ideas and enthusiasm, and slowly it's taken from us before we reach the finish line. The difference between an author and everyone else is an author finishes the project. It's the reason they have a book to show for their hard work.

It's the end of the month, we're all tired. What will define you is how you exit the month. Is it throwing up your hands and saying you're tired, or by furiously pushing your brain muscles to make more story?

This isn't the first time the problem has arise, and it won't be the last. I remember preparing The Dragon's Tear for my first editor and it had missing chapters. I was nervous about not appearing amateurish, but at the same time I only had a limited amount of time to have it read. Somehow I wrote more than a thousand words in an hour, relatively typo free as well. I managed to get a complete manuscript turned in on time, and it felt amazing.

Try to push yourself, since you won't know how far you'll go before you try. Five more days, get writing.
